As others have said, it looks very odd from the outside. Nonetheless, it is an exceptional fish and chip shop. Faithfully traditional and very tasty. It's also amazingly cheap, two large fish and chips cost around 7 pounds. Any tourists wanting to know what an authentic fish and chips tastes like, look no further.
Seems to have been here as long as I've been associated with Brighton (since 1983).
The chips are possibly the most original, REAL potato chips (hand-cut?) in Brighton, and only £1.30 a portion and cooked to order.
It might seem strange at first sight, bit it's one of the best fish and chips ever, with unusual fish species in store
